Family Golf Camp
Golf camp provides families with an outlet for healthy and fun recreation as well as the chance to experience competition in a positive environment and receive guidance in everything from skill improvement to increasing coordination while building family bonds. Children seek attention, respect and acknowledgment. Through their golf camp achievements they receive all of this as well as quality time spent with their family. Parents and children are so busy balancing school, after school activities and work that time spent together as family is difficult. Family golf camp is a great way to break away from the mundane rush and reconnect.
Not only do golf camp attendees find themselves improving their golf skills but they are also having fun while getting healthy outdoor physical activity. With so many of today’s adults and youth struggling with obesity, golf is a wonderful sport to enjoy while incorporating heart healthy exercise. By walking a golf course (18 holes) a person roughly walks 3 to 4 miles. Golf is easy on the joints while still working the heart, lungs and other muscles through walking and carrying golf equipment. Those who participate in daily activity also sleep better. Golf is all around beneficial to children and adults alike.
This summer enjoy family golf camp at Paul Tessler’s Golf Academy Learning Center, located at 3781 State Route 5 Newton Falls, Ohio. Families can choose from 3 hour or 90-minutes golf instruction session or even an on-course playing lesson with their own PGA professional. The Golf academy features a one day camp that will teach the rules of golf, etiquette, sportsmanship as well as focus on Teeing off: grip, aim, stance, swing and more in a fun and positive environment for the whole family.
