The game of Golf has come a long way since it’s roots in Scotland where story has it shepherds invented the game after knocking stones into rabbit holes for fun around the 12th century. No matter its exact origins golf is now one of the most popular precision club and ball sports. Golfers looking for this precision and consistency are turning to Paul Tessler, owner and golf director at the Golf Academy Learning Center, a 40-acre learning complex. Here at the Golf Academy of Ohio, students can learn to improve any golf technique of their choice or simply learn how to play the game properly from a certified teaching professional.
Located between Cleveland and Pittsburgh the Golf Academy is a complete practice facility for lesson improvement in any weather. There are covered tees, a state of the art indoor practice facility featuring video and computer analysis for up to date skill improvement come rain or shine. There is also the 9-hole par 28 executive course a private tee line as well as practice bunkers and chipping green to enhance your short game.
The course and one tee line are available to the public while the second tee line is available for students only and the executive course is free to academy students. This course offers 9-holes ranging from 79 yards to 285 yards challenging shots and providing a beneficial practice environment. Golfers can partake in the golf academy lessons during normal hours of operation from 9a.m. to dusk April through August as well as winter hours by appointment during November to March. Golfers can prepare for the upcoming season or improve their techniques for the current season. Improving one’s game makes the game of Golf more enjoyable and games should be fun.
